چکیده
Abstract We address the detailed description of magnetic properties (001) and (111) interfaces between hard CoFe 2 O 4 (CFO) soft NiFe spinel ferrites, used in bicomponent systems for permanent magnet applications. The similarity electronic properties, order lattice structure both oxides allows us to isolate effect ideal interface formation on magnetism combined system based density functional theory. While moments long-range preserve bulk-like values, anisotropy is reduced by presence interface, depends specific termination. Partial inversion CFO also relevant, as it enhances net magnetization alters magnitude spatial dependence anisotropy.
